Job Description:
This job is responsible for developing and delivering strategic priorities for Bank of America’s Global Public Policy team. Key responsibilities include advancing Bank of America’s position on key legislative, regulatory and social responsibility issues and advocating those positions to government officials. Job expectations include maintaining strong relationships with public officials, trade associations and other industry-based organizations, and coordinating with key internal stakeholders on important policy issues.
The Federal Government Relations Executive will serve as a key advocate for the bank’s interests before federal policymakers, with a primary focus on banking policy and financial services issues. This individual will develop and execute lobbying strategies, engage with congressional offices and federal agencies, and help shape policy outcomes that support the bank’s strategic objectives. The role requires strong policy acumen, exceptional relationship‑building abilities, and the capacity to translate complex business issues into clear and compelling public‑policy positions. The ideal candidate is a self-starter who thrives in a fast‑paced, highly collaborative environment and brings deep experience working within the federal legislative and regulatory landscape.
