Facilities Technician

Our Facilities Technicians strive for facilities excellence and have a great eye for detail. They are critical to support the care for our Facilities.  They are knowledgeable about Construction Projects as well as existing Facilities.

Job duties may fluctuate day to day, below are some areas we expect the candidate to be proficient in:

  • This job position includes travel to any of AAA facilities or as directed for the purpose of evaluating and making repairs to facilities.

  • Paint and cosmetic repairs to support construction team at both administrative and branch facilities

  • Hanging drywall, installing flooring, doors acoustic tile and carpeting repairs

  • Resolve basic electrical plumbing and employee safety issues

  • Making observations on interior and exterior structural components are safe and in good condition

  • The key results in the work performed by this position include completing various maintenance tasks that ill help assist our properties and keeping them up to date and making a safe place for employees and club members.

  • Assist with event set up

  • Assist with misc. move add change projects and furniture relocation as needed

  • Assist with new construction and modifications to sites

  • Exhibiting responsibility, organization, reliability, time management, and self-motivation

  • High level of attention to detail

  • Interacting with senior staff members on a variety of projects, as needed

  • Promoting a safe workplace and proper use of PPE

  • The environments related to the above tasks include but are not limited to branch offices, call centers and administrative office space.

Qualifications

  • High school diploma or GED;

  • General mechanical, electrical, and plumbing experience preferred

  • Ability to work flexible shifts and overtime as needed to support business operations

  • Strong customer service skills and a highly effective communicator

  • Must be able to work independently

  • 2 years of applicable trade experience

  • Must have a valid driver’s license and clean driving history

  • Lifting may be required, 40 - 70 lbs. multiple times a day or occasionally lifting 85 lbs. to waist height

  • Must be able to provide suitable transportation for use on job sites - Mileage will be reimbursed

The starting pay range for this position is:

$22.69 - $30.22

Additionally, for full time positions, you will be eligible to participate in our incentive program based upon the achievement of organization, team and personal performance.
