Facilities & Storage Coordinator

Auckland, New Zealand Full time

The Role

Facilities & Storage Coordinator

East Tamaki & Penrose, Auckland

With our upcoming Auckland HQ move to Penrose, this new role has been created to ensure the effective facilities and storage operations across our Auckland sites, in particular The Shed at Penrose.  We’re looking for a self-starting Facilities & Storage Coordinator to join our small, agile, Facilities team. This role will suit a hands‑on go‑getter who enjoys being active, having variety in their day, works well with all kinds of people, and takes pride in their work.

About the role:
You’ll be responsible for supporting day‑to‑day facilities operations, coordinating on‑site and off‑site storage, and managing the movement of goods. A key element of the role is working closely with internal customers (Distribution, Product Development for example) and our external contractors to ensure site services are delivered efficiently, safely, and to a high standard.  You’ll also be responsible for inducting all our contractors to our sites so you will enjoy taking ownership.

This is a practical role that combines physical activity with computer‑based work, so you’ll be comfortable moving around site as well as using systems and tools to track, coordinate, and communicate.

About you:

  • Health and safety first!  You think before acting, take care of yourself and others and your environment.
  • Friendly, approachable, and customer focused
  • A proactive self‑starter who takes accountability and enjoys learning new things
  • Confident using computers, systems, and online tools
  • You like to improve systems and processes and can find better ways of doing things
  • Comfortable working with both internal teams and external contractors
  • Organised, reliable, and able to manage competing priorities – a true team player.
  • Full, clean drivers licence (use of a pool vehicle is available for work use) is required and a forklift licence (or ability to obtain one) is preferable.

What we offer:

  • Diversity in your day, you’ll work across our two key Auckland sites
  • Plenty of responsibility and autonomy to support the business
  • A supportive team environment
  • Excellent benefits and work/life balance with regular work pattern.

If you enjoy being active, solving problems, and working with people to keep facilities and services running smoothly, we’d love to hear from suitable applicants right now.  We’re looking for internal applicants or referrals from family and friends – good people know good people, so feel free to share this.
