Position Summary
Support Facility and Engineering Services processes in the process design, equipment selection, process set-up and validation, GMP document creation, Work order processing and operator training for new client and internal projects.
Major Responsibilities
Support the Facility and Maintenance department by managing work orders using the CMMS/ERP system.
Review and categorize completed work orders for accuracy and compliance before filing.
Scan, upload, and organize physical maintenance records, equipment manuals, and vendor reports into the digital database.
Assist in generating and distributing weekly schedules for preventive maintenance and calibration tasks.
Perform physical audits of facility assets to ensure equipment tags and locations match system data.
Gather necessary technical drawings, safety permits, and documentation packages for maintenance teams.
Assist in monitoring the work order backlog and support in generating monthly reports on overdue tasks.
Coordinate with different departments to help track the status of equipment handovers for servicing.
Organize documentation required for quality audits, safety inspections, and regulatory compliance (cGMP).
Support projects related to system upgrades as needed.
Support deviation investigations.
Prepare and review SOPs and Maintenance, Calibration, and Certification Procedures (MCCPs).
Perform any other job related duties as assigned
Minimum Qualifications
Student enrolled in an Engineering or Science program in a Canadian University
Proficient in Microsoft Office (Excel/Word) and capable of learning maintenance management software.
Preferred Qualifications
Sound knowledge of food/pharmaceutical environment
Sound knowledge of good industrial practices
Sound knowledge of cGMPs and GAMP
Basic understanding of building systems (HVAC, electrical, or mechanical)
Additional Requirements
Regular day shift position, occasional weekends and extended shifts may be required for business support
