Job Title: Repair Center Group Lead
Job Position: MAINTENANCE TECHNICIAN GROUP LEAD
Role Summary:
Internal Repair Center NXP has been providing Front End Operations wafer Fabrication centers cost relief through repairing assorted electronics internally. This repair center saves approximately $8 million per year in parts.
Job Responsibilities:
· Supporting business users on application incidents and software environment changes
· Ensuring equipment personnel follow all safety protocols (PPE, LO/TO, HazMat)
· Coordinating preventive and corrective maintenance to meet IRC Goals
· Escalation focal point for Tool Down Repair activities
· Communicating daily goals and activities to IRC techs
· Ensuring 5S compliance and promoting NXP Quality Culture
· Data Entry
· Assigning of repairs
· Part ordering
· Communication with internal customers
· Communication with suppliers
· Leading group meetings
Job Qualifications:
· Minimum associates degree in Electronics required
· 3–5 years experience in a manufacturing environment
· Leadership experience or leadership aptitude preferred
· Previous experience in component‑level troubleshooting is preferred
· Data entry experience working with HTML‑based systems
· Advanced Excel knowledge (formulas, pivot tables, data extraction)
· Diploma in Electronics/Electro-mechanical technology or Equivalent Military or Industry Experience
· Minimum of 3-5 years’ experience in an equipment maintenance role. Strong track record of tactical decision-making, and ability to quickly disseminate and execute plans across a team.
· Basic electronics
· Must be able to read schematics
· Must be physically capable of standing for long periods of time as well as lifting and carrying objects up to 50 pounds.
· Ability to multitask and work well in a diverse team environment.
· Ability to work with minimal supervision and adjust rapidly to changing priorities.
· Ability to produce results in a timely manner.
· Independent, self-motivated, and willing to learn
· Demonstrate analytical, problem-solving, and logical skills
