Modivcare is looking for an experienced Exception Specialist to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for the accurate fulfillment and approval procedures related to transportation service requests or reservations, both before and after transport, by utilizing internal and external resources and conducting outreach to members, facilities, clients, and other stakeholders.

- Ensures accurate trip data input and resolution according to service guidelines.
- Researches and resolves cases requiring further action, such as benefit utilization, verification, waivers, urgent trip requests, pre-authorization, denials, eligibility, mileage validation, meals and lodging, and level of service. MNF forms & Standing orders
- Processes incoming and outgoing requests via fax, mail, email, and web.
- Investigates trip-related issues to confirm actual utilization.
- Conducts outreach to medical facilities related to members, transportation, education, and other needs.
- May lead or participate in other assigned projects or duties.

- High School Diploma required.
- Zero (0) plus years of experience.
- Or equivalent combination of education and/or experience.
- Excellent customer service and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work independently and within a team environment.
- Strong ability to learn new technologies and follow complex processes.
- Proficient in reading, writing, and understanding English.
- Demonstrates strong problem-solving, adaptability, and organizational skills.
- Able to remain professional and composed under pressure.
Salary: $15 - $16.50/hr
