Partner with the best

As a Drilling Fluids Specialist , you will supervise drilling fluids operations, parameter optimization and build successful customer relations. You will collaborate closely with cross-functional teams to provide solutions to complex drilling problems. Utilizing drilling logs and gauges, you will be provide an overview of real-time downhole activity.

 

As a Drilling Fluids Specialist , you will be responsible for:

  • Conducting all business activities in accordance with Baker Hughes HSE policies, Legal Compliance requirements and Baker Hughes Core Values.
  • Providing onsite services by measuring, testing and supervising the running of fluid mixing and pumping, including technical analysis and specific product and practical recommendations for controlling fluid properties under minimal supervision.
  • Maintaining fluid properties on rig sites by testing fluid properties accurately.
  • Maintaining inventory at customer well sites.
  • Maintaining effective customer service by providing rig-site customers and coordinators information regarding the progress of a rig site.
  • Providing ongoing support to assist operations in providing our customers with the most effective, environmentally safe drilling fluids available while optimizing the well-bore construction process and maximizing our customers' production.

 

Fuel your passion

To be successful in this role you will:

  • Have bachelor's degree or Technical degree in the Chemistry field
  • Have CRQ active;
  • Have completed a course in Drilling and Completion Fluids
  • Have ten years of relevant professional experience in Drilling and Completion Fluids
  • Fluent or Advanced English;
  • Demonstrate relevant work experience in technical laboratory environment related to the preparation and testing of drilling and completion fluids
