As an experienced Project Manager in our Health & Safety practice group you will play a crucial role on our Environmental, Health & Safety consulting team, contributing to the success of our projects and helping us deliver outstanding results to our clients.
Responsibilities
- Develop and maintain internal and external client relationships, including project and non-project related face-to-face meetings
- Leadership of a technical or project-related team
- Prepare proposals for moderate to complex projects
- Manage projects (scope, schedule, budget)
- Mentor junior level staff
- Understand and work in compliance with corporate health and safety policies
- Perform or assist in technical and field work on safety and industrial hygiene-related projects, including but not limited to:
- Safety program development and review
- Machine guarding assessments
- Energy control procedure development
- Process safety management (PSM) and risk management planning program (RMP) development and program auditing, and process hazard analysis (PHA).
- Developing and conducting safety training to include Lockout/Tagout (LOTO), confined space, fall protection, hazardous waste and emergency response (HAZWOPER),
- Facility auditing and inspections, regulatory and third-party (ISO, ANSI, etc.) standards
- Employee exposure assessments
- Noise dosimetry and sounds pressure level surveys
- Industrial hygiene exposure assessments for a variety of industries including aerospace, manufacturing, and oil & gas.
- Indoor air quality assessments (mold, VOCs, CO, CO2, etc.)
- Ventilation studies
- Various assessments including PPE, LOTO, confined spaces, heat stress, cold stress, etc.
- Preparation of reports and other work-related documents.
Required Skills

- Ability to exceed client expectations while thriving in a time critical / dynamic work environment.
- Ability to work both independently and as a team member.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office including Word, Excel, Outlook, SharePoint.
- Ability to create, maintain, and communicate project budgets
Qualifications
- BS degree or higher in Safety, Industrial Hygiene, Occupational Health/Safety, Safety or Chemical Engineering, or related field.
- Associate Safety Professional (ASP), Certified Safety and Health Official (CSHO), Safety, Health, & Environmental Professional (SHEP) or Specialist in Safety & Health (SSH) preferred
- 5-8 years of direct safety compliance and/or industrial hygiene experience.
- Demonstrated experience and knowledge of OSHA regulations and guidance as they apply to industrial, energy, and commercial clients.
- Detail-oriented, motivated, analytical thinker, problem solver with a driven work ethic.
- Excellent technical writing, public speaking, communication and critical thinking skills.
- Valid driver’s license and satisfactory driving record.
- Ability to travel up to 15% of the time

Compensation Range:
$73,000.00 - $109,000.00
