Ardent is seeking a Enterprise Architect to join our team.  

This is an onsite position in Washington DC.

Position Description:

 

Ardent is seeking a highly skilled and strategic Enterprise Architect to support enterprise-level architecture planning and integration within secure and classified environments. This role will focus on aligning IT strategy with business objectives, designing scalable architecture solutions, and ensuring seamless integration across systems that may include classified components.

The Enterprise Architect will play a critical role in guiding technical direction, supporting modernization efforts, and ensuring interoperability across enterprise systems. This individual will collaborate with cross-functional teams to develop architecture frameworks and standards while supporting environments that may require interaction with classified systems.

Responsibilities and Duties:

  • The successful candidate for the Enterprise Architect position will provide a broad range of architecture and strategic support functions, including:
  • Enterprise Architecture Strategy:
    Develop and maintain enterprise architecture frameworks, ensuring alignment with organizational goals and mission requirements.
  • System Integration & Design:
    Lead the design and integration of enterprise systems, including those involving classified architecture components.
  • Technology Roadmapping:
    Define and guide long-term technology strategy, modernization initiatives, and system evolution.
  • Standards & Governance:
    Establish and enforce architecture standards, policies, and best practices across the organization.
  • Collaboration & Stakeholder Engagement:
    Work closely with technical teams, leadership, and stakeholders to ensure cohesive architecture planning and execution.

Requirements: 

  • Must have an active Secret Clearance at time of award and be able to maintain clearance
  • Experience supporting enterprise architecture efforts in complex IT environments
  • Strong background in system design, integration planning, and architecture frameworks
  • Ability to align technical solutions with business and mission objectives
  • Strong communication and stakeholder management skills
