Your role:
To work alongside the other members of the Platform Management Team in implementing product change across our EMEA product ranges. The successful candidate will be responsible for managing Fund launches, liquidations, mergers, rationalisations as well as other product initiatives, regulatory change projects that impact on product and special projects that impact on the product ranges.
The role will require deep interpersonal skills as it will involve extensive interaction with other functional areas in the delivery of product initiatives, including but not limited to investments, distribution, operations and technology, legal, compliance and risk.
The role encompasses our active UCITS in Luxembourg and the UK as well as Irish Money Market Funds.
What you will be doing:
Co-ordinate and manage product initiatives with a key focus on technical and end to end enterprise knowledge (Technical understanding of Front, Middle and Back office a key requirement)
To project manage product initiatives from concept through to implementation with business partners
To contribute across all phases of the Product Development Lifecycle with an emphasis on technical and regulatory business case inputs (e.g. risk, derivative, investment, operational infrastructure etc)
To successfully manage any issues and risks relating to each product initiative
To manage expectations and escalate any potential delays, issues and/or risks
To continuously support Invesco business areas through product change
Contribute to the development and maintenance of Invesco EMEA’s product strategy from an implementation/feasibility perspective
Maintain close working relationship with Investment management teams and distribution on new product ideas and regulatory change that impact on product with a particular focus on technical / feasibility aspects
To take on ad hoc projects as required with respect to technical or regulatory change and develop end to end solutions to support business needs
What you will bring:
Extensive experience within the investment management sector and/or financial services industry within a product function with a particular focus on technical end to end investment solutions.
Significant product implementation related experience in financial services organisation
In depth knowledge of financial markets with investment experience a plus
Understanding of functional areas that feed into the product process with experience in one or more areas a plus
End to end investment manager eco system knowledge a key requirement
Proficient with MS Office (PowerPoint, Excel)
Familiar and experience with third party data/administration providers
Educated to degree level or equivalent from recognised university and/ or CFA would be preferable
