The Role:
Moderna is seeking a candidate to drive the design, development, and delivery of digital manufacturing data management solutions globally. In this role, you’ll develop and deliver modern data driven integration solutions that connect manufacturing systems, automate processes, and enable smarter, data-driven decisions across the enterprise.
The individual will collaborate with cross-functional digital, data, and manufacturing teams to create seamless integrations between systems, APIs, and databases. Ensuring performance, scalability, and maintainability within a structured software development lifecycle.
Here’s What You’ll Do
Support 24x7 operations for critical data and manufacturing systems, ensuring high availability, reliability, and rapid issue resolution across global sites.
Monitor, troubleshoot, and resolve production incidents impacting data pipelines, integrations, and downstream systems, acting as a key escalation point during off-hours and on-call rotations.
Maintain and improve data system performance, stability, and resilience through proactive monitoring, alerting, and root cause analysis.
Execute incident response, change management, and release support activities to minimize operational risk and downtime.
Partner closely with manufacturing, quality, IT, OT and data engineering teams to support operational continuity and evolving business needs.
Automate routine operational tasks and improve runbooks, SOPs, and monitoring dashboards to drive operational efficiency and reduce manual intervention.
Participate in continuous improvement efforts, identifying recurring issues and driving systemic fixes rather than short-term patches.
Ensure systems operate in alignment with GxP and data integrity requirements, supporting audits and inspections as needed.
Balance operational support with active engineering contributions, dedicating available capacity during low incident periods to planned engineering work that improves platform reliability and scalability.
Design, develop and enhance data integration solutions that connect manufacturing systems, APIs, and databases, with a focus on robustness, performance, and maintainability.
Here’s What You’ll Need (Basics Qualifications)
