End User Sales Print & Solutions Team Lead

Description -

This role leverages deep product knowledge to build client relationships and devise sales strategies for revenue growth. The role maintains a strong sales pipeline, collaborates across departments, acts on client feedback, supports account managers in negotiations, and mentors junior team members. The role is pivotal in developing the team and building a strong virtual community. You will be responsible for driving profitable growth through the sale printers, supplies, services, and solutions, increasing HP’s Print market share in the UK&I territory.

Key Responsibilities

  • Possess in-depth knowledge of products/services, including technical details, features, benefits, and competitive advantages.

  • Build strong relationships with key client stakeholders to understand their needs and offer tailored solutions.

  • Develop and implement sales strategies to meet and exceed targets, driving revenue growth.

  • Collaborate with departments such as Category, channel partners, delivery, Services, business analysts, and customer support for seamless customer experience.

  • Manage sales pipeline data quality and accuracy across the team.

  • Drive workshops to identify and support growth opportunities.

  • Support account managers in managing client relationships, driving pursuits, and renewing contracts.

  • Lead contract negotiations and pricing discussions with clients.

  • Develop a robust long-term sales pipeline to enhance market presence in specialised areas.

  • Act upon client feedback with internal teams to improve products/services and strengthen relationships.

  • Share expertise and best practices with junior team members, providing guidance and mentorship.

  • Stay informed about industry developments and competitor activities to identify target markets, create pricing strategies, and set sales goals.

  • Engage with key customers in assigned territory on opportunities for high-end Latex products.

  • Build networks into relevant end customers (e.g., Print Service Providers, signage companies, manufacturers) to extend the funnel beyond core customers.

  • Collaborate closely with resellers in demos and deal closing, owning the HP relationship to end customer.

  • Support end user deal pricing for hardware and supplies in-country, in collaboration with regional category and central business support.

  • Work actively with local partners and central teams to identify installed base replacement opportunities.

  • Take part quarterly business reviews with customers, HP executives, and stakeholders.

  • Report to the UK&I Senior Sales Director

Education & Experience

  • Four-year or Graduate Degree in Sales, Marketing, Business Administration, or related discipline, or commensurate work experience.

  • Typically 5–10+ years of work experience, preferably in technical selling, consultative selling, account management, or a related field.

  • Proven record of managing complex accounts and partner business management.

  • Consistent achievement/overachievement of targets/KPIs.
