WHAT YOU WILL ACHIEVE

Your organizational skills will help us integrate our Integrated Manufacturing Excellence (IMEx) System and continuous improvement programs across the Engineering, Maintenance, and Utilities (EMU) organization, both vertically and horizontally, with the goal of fully deploying and certifying IMEx Process-Centric Teams (PCTs) across the entire  EMU organization. Thanks to your knowledge and skills, it will be ensured that these improvement programs yield measurable results and strengthen overall business strategies.

You will work as a coach and facilitator for improvement projects, while maintaining performance metrics to measure program success and monitor IMEx PCT deployment and certification progress. You will support the program by overseeing project governance, project reviews, communications, training, certifications, and recognition activities.

HOW YOU WILL ACHIEVE IT

In this role, you will provide guidance to operational teams in managing projects and achieving IMEx standards. Your planning skills will support forecasting of resource requirements and identifying improvement opportunities across products, processes, and services. Through your comprehensive knowledge of the principles, concepts, and theories of this discipline, you will also contribute to advancing new concepts and methodologies. You will take a leadership role in facilitating alignment and agreement across teams to enable consistent, sustainable IMEx deployment throughout EMU.

How You Will Achieve It

  • Develop and execute IMEx (Integrated Manufacturing Excellence) initial implementation and updates going forward.

  • Provide guidance, lead/co-lead projects, manage own time to meet objectives, and plan resource requirements for projects across the division.

  • Liaise with business stakeholders to define, design and implement performance measures.

  • Deliver continuous improvement projects using six sigma and lean methodologies.

  • Lead or support analysis of improvement programs and potential results.

  • Develop and execute IMEx (Integrated Manufacturing Excellence) initial implementation and updates going forward.

  • Key interface to other divisions and facilitates cross-functional project modeling, resourcing and overall performance.

  • Lead a team of subject matter experts in the development and maintenance of procedural documentation related to Pfizer engineering processes.

  • Coach/facilitate/lead project teams, assist in OpEx strategy definition, solve problems, and implement solutions to improve operational performance by applying the appropriate tools.

  • Serve as an expert resource for evaluation and action against assigned measures.

Qualifications

Must-Have

  • Applicant must have a bachelor's degree with at least 5 years of experience; OR a master's degree with at least 3 years of experience; OR a PhD with 0+ years of experience; OR as associate's degree with 8 years of experience; OR a high school diploma (or equivalent) and 10 years of relevant experience.

  • Demonstrated business acumen, experience in managing projects teams, programs, or workstreams of varying levels of complexity

  • Skills to translate and present visualization of data into a format that can trigger action and business decisions

  • Basic understanding of finance and good working knowledge of the Pharmaceutical Industry

  • Understanding and proficiency in Change Management

  • Ability to effectively coach and mentor colleagues

  • Strong oral and written communication skills

Nice-to-Have

  • Relevant pharmaceutical experience

  • Demonstrated previous supervisory management experience in problem solving, decision making, negotiating and conflict resolution skills

  • In depth knowledge and experience with investigations and compliance-related procedures

  • Capability in Lean tools and/or desire to grow Lean capabilities to further drive Continuous Improvement projects.
