Amentum is seeking a skilled Electrician to join our team for an OCONUS construction project in South Korea. This project will last approximately 8-months. This will be an opportunity to work on a high-impact project in a dynamic environment. The position will require the following attributes and responsibilities:
- Proficient at running conduit
- Proficient at wiring and terminations to include but not limited to; lighting /electrical panels/fire alarm/low voltage controls
- Install electrical components to include but not limited to electrical panels / lighting / switches / receptacles / control wiring / fire alarm
- Assist with the project goals in supporting other trades as needed
- Working knowledge of programmable logic controllers (PLCs).
- Communications skills, ability to interact with other skilled trade professionals, designers, and clients.
- Knowledge of National Electric Code, state and local building codes.
- Knowledge of energy-efficient equipment and products.
- Use of testing equipment and hand tools.
- Ability to work well individually and as part of a team.
Required Qualifications:
- Must have a Secret US Government Security Clearance. Note: US Citizenship is required to maintain a Secret Security Clearance
- High school diploma or GED equivalent
- OCONUS Experience
- Current Journeyman Electrician’s License
- 5 - 7 years commercial or industrial electrical experience
- Experience with new builds, and renovation projects
Preferred Qualifications:
- Master Electrician’s License
