Electrician, Crane B (Crane Electrician)

Work Schedule: Full-time
Compensation: $43.51/hour
The Electrician, Crane B, is responsible for the installation, maintenance, troubleshooting, and repair of electrical systems and components of various types of crane equipment.
Typical duties include but are not limited to:
Diagnosing and repairing electrical issues in crane systems, including motors, controls, and other components.
Perform regular inspections and maintenance to identify potential problems and ensure optimal performance.
Installing new electrical systems or upgrading existing ones, including wiring, control panels, and other components.
Conducting thorough inspections of crane electrical systems to ensure compliance with safety regulations and identify potential hazards.
Reading and interpreting electrical blueprints and schematics to understand the layout and functionality of crane electrical systems.
Completing detailed reports on inspections, repairs, and maintenance activities.
Qualifications:
HS/GED and 3-5 years of experience; equivalent combination of experience and education allowed
Strong understanding of electrical theory, AC/DC systems, motor controls, and other electrical components.
Strong understanding of crane safety protocols and emergency procedures.
Ability to read and interpret blueprints, technical drawings, and operational manuals.
Excellent hand-eye coordination, spatial awareness, and attention to detail.
Strong communication skills with the capability to work well within a team.
Physical Requirements:

Must be able to lift and/or move up to 50 pounds.
May be required to reach, kneel, walk, stand, and use repetitive motion for several hours at a time based on position duties.
Work may require repetitive motion, reaching, lifting, kneeling, and walking. Standing or sitting for several hours at a time, climbing in and out of a vehicle, and up and down stairs may also be required.
Must have the perseverance to work effectively under pressure for extended periods of time.
Requirements:
A valid state driver’s license is required with the ability to obtain and maintain coverage by Tessera’s insurance.
