This is a full-time continuing position with salary in the range $93,491 - $100,296 (HEW 6), plus a generous super allowance of up to 17%.

Based at our St Lucia campus
We are seeking an Educational Media Producer with sound knowledge and practical experience across the full production lifecycle, including design, editing, post-production workflow, studio and field production, and essential equipment maintenance and file management.
Key responsibilities will include:
Content Production
Produce and deliver high-quality educational media assets, including planning documents like storyboards and scripts. This involves preparing, shooting, and editing educational videos and short-narrative pieces in both studio and field settings.
Post-Production & Editing
Oversee all post-production activities, including progress tracking, assembly editing, information gathering, and file management. You will be responsible for enhancing established digital content and ensuring quality control.
Talent and Project Support
Provide coaching and guidance to on-camera talent, advising them on presentation and scriptwriting. You will also provide hands-on support for all aspects of production, including camera, lighting, sound, and equipment management.
Social Media & Engagement
Develop and source media content for social media platforms to support promotional strategies. Additionally, you will assist students with career advice at employability events.
Degree or diploma with relevant work experience in digital media, or an equivalent combination of experience and education. This includes demonstrated experience in digital media capture, editing, and video post-production, particularly in a documentary, higher education, or training environment.
Extensive experience with Adobe Creative Cloud, especially Premiere Pro CC. You also have a strong knowledge of both Windows and Mac operating systems and are familiar with educational software and social media platforms like Instagram and LinkedIn.
Highly organised individual who can take initiative, prioritise your workload, and consistently meet deadlines. You can work both independently and as a collaborative member of a team.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills and can liaise effectively with a diverse range of clients via phone, email, and in person.
You must maintain unrestricted work rights in Australia for the duration of this appointment, and may be required to complete background checks including, criminal history and education checks. Employer sponsored work rights are not available for this appointment.
