Early Careers Talent Acquisition Specialist

The Early Careers Talent Acquisition team at Kainos leads the end-to-end recruitment of our junior hiring needs. With team members across the UK&I, EMEA, and North America, we focus on campus engagement, candidate experience, and building a strong pipeline of diverse early careers talent.

About You
You’re passionate about creating equitable opportunities for young people, and you understand how meaningful attraction strategies can open doors. Creative and self-driven, you enjoy building relationships with universities, student groups, and early career communities to promote Kainos as an employer of choice.
You also enjoy partnering with the business - educating stakeholders on what early talent values and shaping a positive candidate experience from attraction through onboarding. You thrive in fast-paced environments, stay organized under pressure, and take pride in delivering high-quality work.
This role will primarily support the recruitment and coordination of our Workday Graduate Program across the Americas. You’ll operate with autonomy, collaborate closely with a global team, and help drive Kainos’ continued growth.
Contract Duration: May through October (with potential extension).
Key Responsibilities
Lead hiring efforts for our June 2027 Workday Graduate Development Program in Indianapolis and Toronto, in partnership with the Senior Talent Acquisition Partner for the Americas.
Deliver a best-in-class candidate experience, ensuring all recruitment activities align with global processes, Kainos values, and our quality standards.
Plan, coordinate, and represent Kainos at campus and community events, acting as a brand ambassador to raise awareness and attract diverse talent.
Collaborate with the wider Early Careers TA team, sharing market insights, best practices, and contributing to team-wide and People function projects.
Manage recruitment logistics globally, including scheduling, interviews, candidate communications, and process tracking with accuracy and timeliness.

Minimum (Essential) Requirements
2-4 years of experience in a relevant environment, with an approachable, collaborative, and mature working style.
Strong organizational, communication, and presentation skills, with the ability to engage stakeholders at all levels.
Excellent time-management skills with a high attention to detail, especially when working to tight deadlines.
A proactive team player with strong customer service and problem-solving skills.
Experience supporting Talent Acquisition strategies in fast-paced environments.
Ability to work both independently and as part of a team with minimal supervision.
Ability to build rapport with students and create energy and excitement throughout the engagement and recruitment process.
Fast learner with the ability to follow established processes and uphold TA standards.
Desirable Skills
Experience with JIRA, Microsoft Teams, SharePoint, and/or Workday.
Travel Expectations: You will attend in-person career fairs within approximately 1.5 hours of Indianapolis, including visits to Purdue University and Indiana University.
