Key Responsibilities:
1. Transect Management - To understand project design and participate in planning and project activity implementation with a lens of transport and security
Support planning, coordination, and implementation of project activities in cocoa, vanilla, and regreening initiatives.
Maintain transport log records, compile field reports, and contribute to project achievements
Ensure compliance with WV and Transec policies, donor requirements, and environmental and social safeguards.
Identify risks and propose practical solutions to keep activities on track.
Support all project activities with safe driving principles at all times.
2. Transport check and Management strengthened
Work closely with the project team to ensure vehicle support is safe and convenient at all times.
Liaise with local service providers for vehicle services, and perform periodic repairs as per WV fleet management policy
Work with the Transact Coordinator to ensure records and regular checks is done on the vehicle before and after the field to ensure timely report and support.
Be more gender and disability focused in transportation and logistic support
3. Foster an interdependent working and growth culture
Actively involving in operations planning and logistic support.
Addressing security and safety risk project team and to participation (time, language. cultural norms)
Supporting inclusive decision-making at cooperative level
Communicating project objectives clearly to communities and partners to build unity.
4. Monitor, inspect and maintain proper documentation
Promoting safety and safeguarding while providing logistic and mechanical support
Supporting/improving transport and mechanical structure and systems in World Vision International
Encouraging practices that reduce harm to officers, partners and community and support accountability as development partner.
Manage technical and Mechanical aspect of the transport support on monthly basis.
EDUCATIONAL QUALIFICATION/SKILLS, KNOWLEDGE & EXPERIENCE
5-7 years’ experience in driving with background knowledge in the cocoa and vanilla industry and sound knowledge of traffic laws, regulations
Certified Certificate in Safe Driving
Current Driving licensee (advantage)
NID
General knowledge in driving, logistics, and mechanical tasks
Specific knowledge in the target communities and
Safe driving and safeguarding approaches.
