Distribution Supply Chain Specialist (outsourced – 12 months)

The Position

The Distribution Supply Chain Specialist leads the Supply Chain function for the assigned distributor countries. This position establishes and facilitates the realization of the regional Distribution Supply Chain Management strategy and business objectives. The Distribution Supply Chain specialist identifies and takes action to deliver service and financial value. In addition, this position promotes a team-oriented environment through people development, strong leadership, continuous improvement, and cross-functional and cross-country support.

Your Responsibilities

  • Lead the Order Management process for the assigned market (order processing, delivery, invoicing etc)

  • Efficiently manage and optimize the distribution process that ensures the product availability at distributors end

  • Built and maintain excellent working relationships with various stakeholders including distributors, sales team, and global Supply Chain, and be the Single point of contact (SPOC) for market engagement across countries.

  • Monitor the order to delivery flow to ensure seamless operation and delivery to the distributor

  • Lead projects to improve the supply chain within the region, and drive process simplification and system streamlining

  • Support Sales and Finance in achieving the financial targets by maximizing deliveries

  • Pre-empt planning on ad-hoc requirements, ensure stock availability of bottleneck materials

  • Monitor invoicing progress for the achievement of the monthly sales target, MIS reporting on the monthly Sales Forecast, and carrying out Monthly Sales Closure activities

  • Handle customer and logistics claims (damages/shortages), and settle by issuing credit notes or return deliveries

  • Support in the implementation of all relevant Roche digital solutions, and ensure smooth processing and revenue recognition for Digital product orders

  • Through close collaboration with the logistics representatives in countries, develop a robust planning procedure (involvement of the distributor is required). Develop and roll out standards on S&OP that guarantee smooth processes

  • Define and implement metrics to evaluate and improve customer experience and efficiency, such as OTIF, Customer Complaints, and Customer Services SLAs

  • Route optimisation to ensure business continuity with cost effectiveness

  • Ensure the Customer Satisfaction in line with Global CX strategy by getting timely feedback via various tools such as Survey, Interview, etc.

Who You Are

  • You hold a BSc/MSc degree in Business Administration, Logistics, Supply Chain Management, IT, or related

  • You built a minimum of 5 years of experience in Supply Chain Management, Logistics, Demand Planning,  Customer Service (order management), Finance Supply Chain business partner, Supply Quality or similar

  • You built working knowledge of SAP, SAP/APO module, SAP SD module, SAP MM Module, Letters of Credit, and hands-on S&OP experience

  • You have advanced analytical, problem-solving, decision making skills, and a “can-do” attitude

  • You have excellent interpersonal skills, and advanced written and oral communication skills

  • You are a team player with an agile mindset, and someone who is able to collaborate with different stakeholders

  • You are fluent in English (verbal and written)
