Job Description
Performs routine administrative activities (i.e. procurement, document retention) and/or physical tasks involved in the picking, shipping, receiving, storing, inventory control and distributing of Gilead products/inventory.
Inputs information regarding movement and handling of products in a computerized inventory system. Organizes and maintains accurate records associated with Warehouse and Distribution activities.
Performs basic transactions associated with Warehouse and Distribution processes through internal and external computer systems.
Adheres consistently to SOPs and cGMPs.
Escalates deviations in process or product to supervisor, to ensure on-time delivery of material and return of rejected or unsuitable orders.
Notifies relevant departments as items are received, shipped or processed, as required.
Physically examines incoming or outgoing shipments, products or samples to ensure they meet specifications and match paperwork.
Identifies and records deviations and escalates to supervisor.
Performs, or operates machinery for routine physical handling of items, including assembling packaging, affixing shipping labels and instructions to packaging, moving shipments.
May support various projects within the warehouse related to process improvement or asset management.
Associates degree & 1+ years of relevant experience; OR
High school diploma & 2+ years of relevant experience
Certificate to FETAC level 6 (GSL)
Works on assignments that are basic in nature where ability to recognize deviation from accepted practice is required.
Basic knowledge of Current Good Manufacturing Practices (cGMPs).
Able to perform routine transactions using ERP system.
Able to work in a fast-paced team environment.
Experience with class 1 or 2 power equipment usage.
