Scope of Position
This growth-oriented, enterprise-focused leader, as part of the Watts Applied Solutions team, will be responsible for the performance, scalability, and profitability of Turnkey Operations. The role provides executive leadership for fully integrated Emergency Replacement and Capital Replacement programs while driving disciplined project execution, process standardization, and commercial growth across the installation and delivery of hydronic boilers, domestic hot water heaters, mixing valves, water softeners, water quality solutions, leak detection, and digital solutions.
This position is responsible for the guidance, development, and performance of Project Management, Emergency Replacement, and Capital Replacement team leaders and contributors. This position reports to the Director of Strategic Accounts. This role is remote and is based in Blauvelt, NY.
Primary Job Duties and Responsibilities
- Partner with Strategic and National Account leadership to scale turnkey project operations across Emergency Replacement and Capital Replacement programs.
- Unify emergency and capital replacement teams under a shared operating model, establishing common processes, KPIs, governance, and accountability.
- Lead execution excellence for turnkey solutions involving hydronic boilers, domestic hot water systems, mixing valves, water quality systems, leak detection platforms, digital monitoring solutions, and other Watts product lines.
- Provide operational leadership and input into P&L performance, including revenue growth, margin expansion, cost control, forecasting, and capital planning.
- Collaborate closely with Sales to sell, scope, and deliver integrated Applied Solutions offerings aligned to customer needs and emerging vertical markets.
- Expand Applied Solutions presence within key vertical markets including healthcare, hospitality, education, commercial, industrial, and mission-critical facilities.
- Develop, implement, and continuously improve standardized turnkey processes, tools, SOPs, and dashboards to support scalable, repeatable growth.
- Mentor and develop high-performing project management and field execution teams, building bench strength and leadership continuity.
- Serve as the executive escalation point for complex, high-risk, or high-visibility customer projects, ensuring resolution and customer confidence.
- Ensure strict compliance with safety standards, regulatory requirements, and Watts policies across all turnkey installations.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with customers, contractors, vendors, manufacturers, and internal cross-functional partners.
- Champion a culture of operational discipline, continuous improvement, accountability, and customer-centric execution aligned with Watts values.
- Identify and implement opportunities to improve speed, quality, reliability, customer experience, and profitability across turnkey operations.
- Travel up to 50% based on project, customer, and business needs.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree required; Engineering, Construction Management, or Business preferred (equivalent professional experience may be considered in lieu of degree).
- 10+ years of progressive leadership experience in turnkey projects, capital programs, construction operations, or mechanical/building systems environments.
- Proven experience leading multi-site or multi-team operations with responsibility for execution, financial performance, and operational consistency.
- Strong working knowledge of hydronic boilers, domestic hot water systems, plumbing/mechanical systems, and water quality solutions.
- Demonstrated ability to drive process standardization, operational efficiency, and scalable growth within complex organizations.
- Strong financial and operational acumen, including P&L ownership, capital budgeting, margin management, and forecasting.
- Ability to successfully establish employment eligibility and satisfactorily complete background checks as a condition of employment.
- Understanding of and adherence to applicable laws, codes, policies, regulations, and safety practices and procedures, as applicable.
- Must successfully establish employment eligibility and satisfactorily complete background checks and required pre-employment testing as a condition of employment.
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience leading enterprise-wide capital programs or facility infrastructure portfolios.
- OSHA certification or demonstrated leadership of safety-first construction and installation environments.
- Background integrating emergency response/service operations with long-term capital planning.
