You will help to lead the central Collins Transformation program office, helping to guide and execute high-impact initiatives and shape the future of Collins Aerospace.

This role can be worked remotely in the U.S.

What You Will Do:

Program Management Activities you will lead

  • Develop strategy for and lead the transformation program end-to-end

  • Manage the day-to-day activities of managing program processes and artifacts

  • Own content and coordination for all executive briefs to Collins, RTX leadership, and support BoD briefs as needed

  • Serve as a trusted advisor to the Transformation Leader  

  • Facilitate regular transformation management meetings with senior stakeholders to track and report progress

  • Drive the stage gate process, problem solve to accelerate or remove roadblocks, and create accountability

  • Manage external consulting teams supporting the efforts

  • Monitor and escalate areas of program risk and help to problem solve to create mitigations

  • Support Finance and Human Resources to enable value realization and reporting for the overall program

Stakeholder Engagement Responsibilities

  • Manage Transformation effort engagements (summits, workshops, reviews)

  • Support leadership engagement (OMMs, monthly reviews, quarterly business reviews, 1:1s)

  • Facilitate engagement between the transformation management team and working level focals/project managers across the company

  • Domestic Travel 40% to the Midwest, and East Coast

What You Will Learn:

  • Gain broad exposure across Collins businesses and functions to learn different parts of the business

  • Gain experience from high-touch, frequent engagements with Collins Executive leadership

  • Execute a complex and fast paced program

  • Manage stakeholders from across every function and business in the organization

Qualifications You Must Have:

  • Typically requires a University Degree and minimum 14 years prior relevant experience or an Advanced Degree in a related field and minimum 12 years of experience

  • Program Management, Transformation Office, Chief of Staff, or post-Merger Integration experience

  • Excel and basic financial modeling to support business case development

Qualifications We Prefer:

  • MBA

  • 4+ years of experience at a top tier consulting firm, investment bank, corporate strategy, corporate development / M&A, strategy & operations, transformation, or in other similar roles

  • Engagement and facilitation skills capable of working from top to bottom levels of the organization

  • Clear and concise communications (Powerpoint, written, and verbal) for stakeholders at different levels (working teams to executive leadership)

The salary range for this role is 186,200 USD - 353,800 USD. The salary range provided is a good faith estimate representative of all experience levels. RTX considers several factors when extending an offer, including but not limited to, the role, function and associated responsibilities, a candidate’s work experience, location, education/training, and key skills.

Payments under these annual programs are not guaranteed and are dependent upon a variety of factors including, but not limited to, individual performance, business unit performance, and/or the company’s performance.

This role is a U.S.-based role. If the successful candidate resides in a U.S. territory, the appropriate pay structure and benefits will apply.
