If our mission excites you, you’re in the right place; we want you to bring your own energy to help us create a safer world. All we’re missing is you!

Forcepoint is redefining how organizations secure data in a world where it moves everywhere. As part of that mission, we are building a next generation Data Security Posture Management (DSPM) platform—and we’re looking for an exceptional Director of Software Engineering to lead this effort from Poland.

This is a rare opportunity to shape a new, high‑growth product area within a global cybersecurity leader. As the engineering leader for DSPM, you’ll champion technical excellence, grow and mentor a world‑class engineering team, and deliver innovations that transform how enterprise customers protect their most critical data. We are looking for an engineering leader who is passionate about the future of software development — leveraging AI‑powered tools, automation, and modern engineering techniques to accelerate delivery and quality. Experience with AI‑enabled development or testing systems, along with a background in data security, is a strong plus.

What You’ll Lead and Deliver

  • Own and drive the engineering strategy and roadmap for Forcepoint’s DSPM product—designing and delivering a modern, scalable, cloud‑native security platform.
  • Build and lead a high‑performing engineering organization in Poland, attracting top talent and fostering an environment where engineers can do the best work of their careers.
  • Elevate engineering excellence, establishing standards for architecture, code quality, automation, observability, and secure development.
  • Collaborate across product, architecture, and UX to turn customer needs and business objectives into intuitive, robust security solutions.
  • Balance innovation with execution, making smart tradeoffs between feature delivery, long‑term architecture investments, and operational reliability.
  • Mentor and grow engineering leaders and senior ICs, developing both technical and managerial career paths.
  • Engage directly with customers and partners to validate use cases, strengthen product‑market fit, and ensure Forcepoint leads the DSPM category.
  • Shape culture, championing clarity, accountability, and a bias toward action across globally distributed teams.

What You Bring

  • 10+ years of engineering leadership experience, including building and scaling high‑performing software teams.
  • Proven ability to design and deliver complex, cloud‑native products (SaaS, microservices, data platforms, or security products).
  • A strong background in data security, secure system design, data protection, cloud platforms, or related technical domains.
  • Deep knowledge of modern engineering practices: CI/CD, automation, testing, telemetry, quality, DevSecOps.
  • Ability to work collaboratively across engineering groups and business functions, synthesizing diverse perspectives into clear, actionable decisions. Integrations and joint problem‑solving are central to how we operate.
  • A passion for developing people—growing leaders, elevating talent, and inspiring teams.
  • Strong communication skills and the ability to represent engineering to executives, customers, and partners.
  • A mindset that thrives in fastmoving, innovative, execution focused environments.
  • We operate in a modern, forward‑looking environment.  Experience with AI‑led development techniques across the full engineering flow is a strong plus. This includes building or leveraging AI for development workflows, automation, and QA.
  • Candidates with hands‑on experience using AI to improve development velocity, automated testing, or code quality would be particularly valuable. This signals that we're investing in cutting‑edge engineering practices and want people who are excited to innovate.

Why Forcepoint

  • Join a cybersecurity company with a bold vision: Data Security Everywhere.
  • This is an exciting opportunity to contribute to highly innovative initiatives, shape modern engineering practices, and work in an environment where creativity and technical leadership are encouraged.
  • Lead a flagship initiative—DSPM—with high visibility, autonomy, and global impact.
  • Build and scale a new engineering hub in Poland with strong executive sponsorship.
  • Work with exceptional peers across engineering, product, and research.
  • Influence an emerging security market category with enormous upside.
  • Competitive compensation, growth opportunities, and the chance to make a meaningful impact.
