Anaplan is looking for a tenacious Director of Renewals to join Renewals Team. This is a stellar opportunity to get involved in a highly visible, large scale SaaS cloud company. The Director of Renewals is a leadership role within our Customer Success Organization at Anaplan and leads a laser focused team incentivized to forecast, track, and secure renewals. This leader is responsible for identifying and forecasting renewal risk, designing and executing the renewals strategy globally, and working with leaders in Sales and Global Customer Success.

The Customer Success Renewal Team owns a comprehensive process from quote to signature working directly with customers to secure renewal opportunities. They will partner with their Account Executive and Customer Success Business Partner to appropriately manage, forecast and escalate renewals.

Insight on your impact

  • Manage a team of renewal specialists
  • Lead in the vision and strategy of Global Renewals
  • Manage operating procedures for the renewal team and continuously iterate on processes to drive efficiency and impact
  • Own the renewal retention forecast and have detail on each account and the status of their renewal, report out directly to the Chief Customer Officer
  • Partner with Sales Vice Presidents and Customer Success Directors to manage escalated renewal issues
  • Motivate individuals and team to exceed objectives through leading by example, coaching, and mentorship
  • Understand renewals day-to-day motion and work directly with the renewal specialists to help them with the systems and processes necessary to exceed their goals and targets
  • Be a strong voice within Anaplan to drive new initiatives and programs targeting improved productivity and scale
  • Optimize account growth at renewal by ensuring our renewal specialists are leading with the account team and helping to identify incremental opportunities upon contract renewal

Your qualifications, your influence

  • Experience running a successful renewals management team
  • Deep understanding of the renewal cycle and sales processes
  • Deep understanding of SaaS and Enterprise Sales business model with an understanding of customer lifecycle measures and SaaS revenue streams.
  • Data-driven with a dedication to process improvement
  • Strong reputation working with inter-disciplinary teams as being innovative, accountable, reliable, and able to thrive in a constantly changing environment
  • Passion for process and experience scaling processes

Preferred skills and technical familiarity

  • 6+ years of experience in sales/renewals management
  • 4+ years’ experience with subscription software
  • Strong ability to deliver and facilitate knowledge transfer, both in-person and virtually, across a globally diverse team
  • Proven record of success as an individual renewals/account management experience
Base Salary Range:
$130,000$187,000 USD
