The Director, Marketing – Oscar Mayer Breakfast and Dinner Meats is responsible for:
Owning and managing the Breakfast (Bacon and Convenient Breakfast) and Dinner (Hot Dogs) portfolio of products within the Oscar Mayer brand
Accountability for delivering volume, profit and share
Sets multi-year direction and annual plan
Leads cross-functional execution end to end
Develops a team that delivers through both direct and indirect leadership. Direct organization includes 2 direct reports and a team of 5. Leads cross-functional team of 30+
This position is best suited for someone who has excellent command of business fundamentals and has strong leadership, communication, and story-telling skills.
Key Components of the Role:
Own portfolio performance end-to-end, including business results (volume, profit, share) and the strategic choices required to deliver them
Set a clear multi-year portfolio strategy and translate it into annual brand and operating plans, including integrated category/brand narratives and resource allocation (A&C budget)
Ensure strong commercial discipline across the team (consumption analysis, pricing, demand forecasting, P&L fluency), raising the bar on decision quality and analytics rigor
Drive portfolio commercialization across innovation, renovation, quality improvements, and cost reductions—ensuring clear owners, timelines, and delivery against objectives
Partner closely with the Oscar Mayer Communications team to shape and execute marketing activations (above-the-line and omni-channel) that support brand and portfolio objectives
Lead, coach, and develop a management team—building manager capability, clarifying expectations, and creating a culture of ownership and accountability
Operate with high autonomy in ambiguous situations, proactively anticipating risks and unblocking delivery across stakeholders
QUALIFICATIONS:
Demonstrated ability to define and execute a multi-year growth agenda for a brand or portfolio, translating strategy into clear priorities and actions
Strong business acumen, including expertise in pricing, demand forecasting, consumption analysis (POS and panel), and P&L ownership/fluency
Track record of delivering demand-driving results across the marketing mix (product, price, place, promotion) and coaching others to do the same
Proven cross-functional leadership and stakeholder influence, with the ability to drive alignment and decisions amid competing priorities
Experience leading communications, innovation and insights initiatives
People leadership experience that includes managing managers, building team capability, and strengthening culture and accountability
Executive-level communication and storytelling skills—able to simplify the complex and mobilize teams around a clear direction

New Hire Base Salary Range:
$190,300.00 - $237,900.00Bonus: This position is eligible for a performance-based bonus as provided by the plan terms and governing documents.
The compensation offered will take into account internal equity and may vary depending on the candidate's geographic region, job-related knowledge, skills, and experience among other factors
Long-Term Incentive (LTI): In addition to base salary and bonus, this role is eligible for additional compensation in the form of equity.
