About the role
Works within our Institutional Markets line of business, reporting directly to the Managing Director of our Guaranteed Investment Contracts team.
Responsibilities
This role will be responsible for managing the ~$18 billion GIC business, which includes executing deals (average deal size is between $500 million to $1 billion), managing bank relationships across approximately 25 different top tier banks, evaluating economics and risk positions, developing complex analytical models to project net interest margin and profitability of business, and overseeing investment portfolios asset allocations and risk metrics for entire book of business.
Manage the GIC Program for all FABN trade execution to meet increasing multi-billion annual targets. Responsible for planning issuances, trade execution, trade documentation and settlement. Management of program also includes development of new markets and currencies to broaden diversification of issuance as continue to grow book and responsibility for maintaining strong bank relationship with credit facility and other key relationship banks in strong partnership with Treasury team.
In force management of ~$18 billion GIC portfolio including working with Data Management and Finance teams to develop Complex Financial Models and Reporting for Product Profitability, NII Projections and Financial Analysis to be presented to Executive Management
Develop and execute FABN and new market investor relations strategy. Work with key relationship banks to develop strategy, manage the preparation of IR materials, handle communications and coordination with Investor Relations team.
Support new market/new product research, development and drafting of materials for executive approvals
Skills & Qualifications
Bachelor's degree
3-5 years of experience
Debt Capital Markets experience is a plus
Master’s degree or an MBA is preferred.
Experience with fixed income markets and/or securities issuance preferred. Knowledge of Python, Power BI and/or Excel Macros for financial modelling is preferred.
Proficient at financial analysis and strong quantitative skills.
Compensation
The anticipated salary range for this position is $150,000 to $175,000 at the commencement of employment. Not all candidates will be eligible for the upper end of the salary range. The actual compensation offered will ultimately be dependent on multiple factors, which may include the candidate’s geographic location, skills, experience and other qualifications.
In addition, the position is eligible for a discretionary bonus in accordance with the terms of the applicable incentive plan.

This position is based in Corebridge Financial’ s New York office and is subject to our hybrid working policy, which gives colleagues the benefits of working both in an office and remotely.
