What You Will Achieve
In this role, you will:
Lead strategic direction, business performance, and financial management for complex activities within a Division or Global Business Unit.
Manage people, technology, and financial resources, including those outside of direct authority, within a Division or Global Business Unit.
Share knowledge across the Global Business Unit and establish systems for continuous knowledge sharing.
Foster an environment of continuous improvement and innovation, encouraging acceptable risk-taking in daily operations.
Develop solutions to complex problems and hold accountability for decisions within the Division or Global Business Unit.
Contribute to strategy development and execution, manage talent and leadership development, and participate in succession planning.
Hold senior managers accountable for skill development and diversity, lead resources to deliver on priorities, and influence resources outside the immediate area.
Set objectives for and manage multiple high-complexity projects, ensuring compliance through planned assessments and internal audits.
Oversee the internal assessment program, ensuring timely audits, training team members, and maintaining records of audits and responses.
Develop, implement, maintain, and improve QA and QC systems/processes, communicate key quality performance metrics, and interface with key stakeholders to ensure efficient workflow and strengthen the quality culture.
Here Is What You Need (Minimum Requirements)
BA/BS with at least 8 years of experience or MBA/MS with at least 7 years of experience or PhD/JD with at least 5 years of experience or MD/DVM with at least 4 years of experience
Extensive people management and talent development expertise
Deep understanding of GMPs
Effective communication skills, both written and verbal
Strong interpersonal skills
Ability to juggle multiple projects simultaneously
Robust problem-solving capabilities
Candidate demonstrates a breadth of diverse leadership experiences and capabilities including: the ability to influence and collaborate with peers, develop and coach others, oversee and guide the work of other colleagues to achieve meaningful outcomes and create business impact.
Bonus Points If You Have (Preferred Requirements):
Master’s degree and relevant pharmaceutical experience
Development expertise, implementation experience, and training design
Strong project management skills
Experience working in a regulated environment
Developing quality and compliance programs
Excellent negotiation and conflict resolution skills
Physical/Mental Requirements
Lifting, sitting, standing, walking, bending, working on a computer and ability to perform complex data analysis
Non-Standard Work Schedule, Travel or Environment Requirements
Minor travel may take place. Must adhere to safe work practices and procedures. Gowning into areas will be required periodically.
