Your New Role:
We are seeking seasoned media business leader who will lead the development of data-driven business solutions, overseeing the strategic use of data and AI technologies to drive transformation and deliver impactful business outcomes. This role combines high-level solution architecture, process redesign, and data strategy with strong leadership to guide cross-functional teams in solving complex business challenges. The Senior Director will work closely with executive leadership and business teams to understand business needs and design scalable data architectures, advanced analytics, and AI-powered solutions.
Key Responsibilities:
Define and develop enterprise data strategy in consultation with business teams, tech teams and data teams across the organization
Support business teams in strategy development with data driven decision making and modernization with AI embedded
Consult and support process transformations, modernizations using data and AI for the key business processes
Work closely with the data platforms and engineering teams in getting a future ready platform architecture for the organization
Drive the delivery of data products, manage the enterprise data products inventory and ensure adoption of the data products across the enterprise
Mentor and influence a team of data solution architects, engineers, and consultants to design high-level data architectures and process redesign solutions for business teams.
Collaborate with business stakeholders to understand their needs and translate them into comprehensive data solutions, ensuring alignment with business goals.
Support the development and implementation of end-to-end data solutions, including data pipelines, data flows, and AI models including measuring impact, communication of value, embedding of data governance, etc.
Stay abreast of emerging technologies and industry trends in data, AI, and analytics to keep the organization ahead of the curve.
Lead and manage relationships with key executives, ensuring that the solutions delivered meet or exceed expectations.
Support organizational change initiatives related to data transformation, guiding stakeholders through the adoption of new technologies and process changes to foster a data-driven culture.
Qualifications & Experiences:
12+ years of experience in data solutions, data engineering, or similar roles, with at least 5 years in a leadership position.
Proven experience in designing and implementing high-level data and AI architectures for large, complex organizations.
Expertise in data analytics, machine learning, and AI technologies, with a strong understanding of business process redesign through data.
Strong consulting skills with the ability to manage stakeholder expectations and communicate complex technical concepts to non-technical audiences.
Advanced degree in Computer Science, Data Science, Engineering, or a related field is preferred.
Excellent leadership, project management, and strategic thinking skills.
Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills, capable of building strong relationships across all levels of an organization
Experience in transforming traditional business operations through data services and automation
