The Opportunity:
 

Responsible for driving a culture of data driven, insight-led decision making for Abbott Nutrition. Partners closely with senior business stakeholders to help diagnose business health, set the organization strategy, drive investment choices and enable market leading growth. As key member of the Market Insights and Analytics leadership team, this role is responsible for leading a team of insights and analytics professionals divided across three teams representing a wide range of skillsets.

Major Responsibilities:

  • Lead and develop teams of data science and forecasting professionals responsible for implementing model-based consumption forecasts across all ANPD retail brands, improving retail analytics, and accelerating Similac growth.

  • Provide subject matter expertise in how analytics and descriptive business reporting are best used to make business decisions. Serve as executive translator to clearly explain analytic approaches and results across senior levels of the organization (technical and non-technical) adapting to the audience.

  • Guide internally-conducted analytics to inform revenue growth management, rapid understanding of tactical performance, and promotion/media response.  

  • Establish a consistent approach to forecasting across business units and guiding implementation with executive leadership. Support the development of successful market strategies, driving business growth, and expanding market presence.

  • Approve project scoping and process design, ensuring deadlines are established for business reporting and successful execution.

  • Support the growth and development of direct reports.

Supervisory / Management Responsibilities:
 

Exempt Direct Reports: 3 or more

Exempt Indirect Reports:  5 or more

Required Qualifications

  •  10+ years of progressive relevant experience, preferably in Healthcare, CPG, management consulting or a combination of supplier-side and manufacturer-side experience. Consumer Health Care industry experience is a plus.

  • Proven experience in a senior-level strategic role, preferably within the healthcare or CPG industry. Ability to translate complex data into actionable insights and interact with senior leadership.

  • Experience working with quantitative analytics (marketing analytics, statistical modeling, machine learning, digital attribution, forecasting, optimization, predictive analytics)

  • Excellent internal partner (including Executive level) and experience with external vendor management skills

  • Strong statistical background and experience working with structured data such as retail measurement data (NielsenIQ/Circana). Experience should include management of marketing mix/measurement studies, pricing analytics and trade promotion optimization.

  • Excellent leadership skills with the ability to inspire and motivate a team.

  • Exceptional communication and presentation skills, with the ability to influence and collaborate effectively with stakeholders at all levels.

  • Bachelor's degree in business administration, marketing, economics, or a related field. Advanced degree (MBA or equivalent) preferred.

The base pay for this position is

$147,300.00 – $294,700.00

In specific locations, the pay range may vary from the range posted.
