Position Summary:

The FAU Center for Online and Continuing Education (COCE) is seeking Digital Solutions Coordinator - Boca Raton, FL.

The Digital Solutions Coordinator supports Online Learning and Continuing Education through web development, digital content creation, and instructional technology innovation.

Key Responsibilities:

Digital Experience & Web Strategy

  • Lead the management, enhancement, and optimization of multiple departmental websites within institutional frameworks.

  • Ensure content accuracy, brand alignment, accessibility compliance, and user-centered design best practices.

  • Collaborate with stakeholders to translate program goals into engaging digital experiences.
     

UX/UI Leadership

  • Drive user experience strategy through research, wireframing, prototyping, usability testing, and iterative design improvements.

  • Analyze user journeys and implement enhancements that improve engagement, clarity, and conversion.
     

Data-Informed Innovation

  • Collect, interpret, and visualize engagement data to inform strategic decision-making and continuous improvement.

  • Develop actionable insights that enhance learner experience and digital performance.
     

AI & Workflow Optimization

  • Leverage AI tools to streamline content development, automate workflows, and increase operational efficiency.

  • Identify and implement emerging technologies that support scalable digital innovation.
     

Program & Project Management

  • Design, develop, and manage special initiatives aligned with unit priorities.

  • Exercise independent judgment to achieve broadly defined goals and strategic objectives.

  • Serve as a departmental liaison on digital initiatives both internally and externally.

  • Perform other job-related duties as assigned.

Minimum Qualifications:

Master's degree from an accredited institution in Computer Science, Web Development, Digital Media, or related field; or a bachelor’s degree in computer science, Web Development, Digital Media, or related field and two years or appropriate experience required.

Required Qualifications:

Wed Development and Design

Proficiency in Python, Javascript, or Typescript

Artificial Intelligence or Data Science experience

Ability to multitask and prioritize effectively in a fast-paced environment


Preferred Qualifications:

Experience with front-end web development (HTML, CSS, JavaScript) and working knowledge of back-end technologies (e.g., Python, Node, or similar).

Experience using AI tools to support content creation, automation, or workflow efficiency.

Strong visual design skills.

Ability to manage multiple projects in a fast-paced environment with minimal supervision.

Strong communication and collaboration skills.

Salary:

$67,000-$77,000 per year
