Bellroy

Partnership Specialist

Remote Full Time

IN A NUTSHELL

At Bellroy, we’re on a mission to help the world carry better and use business as a force for good. We create products designed to improve everyday life, always seeking better ways to do things. Whether it’s responsibly sourcing materials, reducing environmental impact, or ensuring our products are built to last.

Partnerships with like-minded brands and individuals are essential to amplifying our reach, telling our story, and building meaningful connections with wider audiences. We’ve collaborated with partners like Google, Qantas, RVCA, Field Notes, Patty Mills, and MAAP and now we’re looking for a Partnerships Specialist to take this work even further. From local initiatives to global collaborations, you’ll lead projects that introduce Bellroy to new audiences, growing our customer base and influence globally. This role isn’t about sliding into an established system. You’ll have the chance to refine and shape our emerging approach to partnerships from the ground up.

As a key member of our Wholesale Team, you’ll help shape our approach to partnerships - focusing on relationships that embody our values and deliver long-term, meaningful results. You’ll play a pivotal role in expanding Bellroy’s reach and impact, driving brand awareness and equity through high-quality collaborations. Bring us your commercial mind, creative outlook, and excellent communication skills, and we’ll provide a world-class team, a brand to be proud of, and the opportunity to do impactful work.

YOU COULD BE THE ONE IF YOU…

  • Have 2–5 years in a commercially-facing role — brand partnerships, business development, or marketing partnerships preferred (direct partnership experience is a plus, but not essential)
  • Get genuine satisfaction from bringing order to complexity — tracking, coordinating, and following through comes naturally to you, not something you have to push yourself to do
  • Are self-directed and proactive — you spot gaps, ask the right questions, and take initiative without waiting to be told what's next (or overstepping into decisions that aren't yours)
  • Communicate clearly and adapt your tone depending on the audience — whether that's a creative partner, an ops team, or leadership
  • Think commercially, not just operationally — you understand how partnerships create value for both sides and can articulate that case compellingly
  • Have a feel for brand and product quality — you can quickly read whether a potential partner shares Bellroy's standards and communicate that assessment clearly
  • Are comfortable with ambiguity — you'll encounter situations where the process doesn't exist yet, and you see that as an opportunity rather than a blocker
  • Work collaboratively and build trust quickly — no credit-hoarding, no territorial behavior
  • Are proficient in Google Workspace (Docs, Sheets, Slides, Gmail); experience with project management and CRM tools such as Asana, Copper or similar is a plus

IF YOU WERE HERE LAST WEEK, YOU MIGHT HAVE…

  • Drafted a business case for a new partnership opportunity, working with our financial analyst to size the commercial potential
  • Coordinated a cross-functional meeting between design, product, and a partner brand to align on a co-branded project timeline
  • Researched a new vertical and brought three prospective partners to your manager — with clear rationale for each
  • Chased down final approvals on a legal agreement, keeping both sides moving toward sign-off
  • Updated the partnership tracker and flagged a timeline risk before it became a problem
  • Prepared a status summary for leadership on all active projects — clear, concise, no fluff
  • Followed up on a slow-moving asset exchange, ensuring nothing slipped through the cracks

BENEFITS & PERKS

  • Competitive PTO offerings. This includes 20 days of PTO, 10 additional paid days of sick/personal time, plus national holidays (in line with our Australian policies, but with US public holidays) and paid parental leave
  • Extensive medical benefits package
  • A yearly product allowance as well as a further 50% discount for friends and family
  • An annual trip to Australia for the Bellroy conference, where you’ll benefit from learning and development sessions and meeting your colleagues in person
  • Fully remote work and a contribution to your work-from-home setup

LOCATION, HOURS & SALARY

This is a full-time remote position based in the West Coast or Midwest time zones for better crossover with our Australian HQ. You’ll report to a U.S.-based manager and will need at least 2 hours of overlap with our Melbourne office to support collaboration across time zones. The salary range for this role is $65,000–$75,000 USD. Occasional travel (2–3 times per year) to product shows is also required.

Start date: We're ready when you are.
