Job Description

  • Responsible for leading the China digital engineering team to build the strategy and drive the development of leading digital solutions in the Healthcare Market to empower our customers.
  • Responsible for development products' and projects' target achievements, along with the team's lean coaching and iterative planning within the agile setup. Responsible to identify risks & issues and setup mitigation measures to resolve them.
  • Work in an agile and innovative Digital Health field, driving end-to-end R&D activities enabling the team to drive prototype incubation, pre-development all the way to bringing products to the market.
  • Responsible for establishing a close & effective collaboration and partnership with the Global Digital team across various functions, geographic locations and the China Product and Go-to-Market team.
  • Demonstrate ability to attract & retain exceptional talents and to foster a highly agile & passionate start-up culture within the team and march towards joint mandates for breakthrough success.
  • Demonstrate leadership and management capability by leading Digital R&D team and have a broad repertoire of people leadership and people development.
  • Value the technological sophistication of digital products and solutions and build on it without being caught in technological excellence alone.
  • Bring solid experience in and continuous learning in the areas of Design Thinking, Agile Software Development and Medical Device Regulatory requirements in China.
  • Responsible for regular preparation and transparent communication of the project status and mitigation plans to all stakeholders involved.
  • Identify & assess potential technology partner targets in China and develop partnership strategy to expand the digital business.
  • Your tasks include scaling of the team, resources, and budget planning, steering of project plans as well as controlling the overall targets of the projects.

 

Qualifications/Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s degree in engineering or equivalent technical degree from an accredited university or college. At least 10-15 years working experience in digital R&D in a medical IT company.
  • Extensive experience in leading R&D team in healthcare digital industry.
  • Strong oral and written language skills of Mandarin and English, and strong communication skills.
