We are seeking a Digital Automation Specialist to join our team and take ownership of end-to-end digital marketing execution, with a primary focus on email and journey automation. This role is hands-on and delivery-oriented, ideal for someone who is comfortable working independently in a smaller, fast-moving healthcare organization. You will be responsible not only for building and launching campaigns, but also for helping shape how automation is executed, optimized, and scaled over time.
You will work closely with internal partners and external stakeholders to translate business and campaign objectives into effective, compliant digital experiences that support member and patient engagement.
Campaign Execution & Ownership
Independently build, test, deploy, and maintain email campaigns using marketing automation platforms, with primary responsibility for Salesforce Marketing Cloud.
Manage all aspects of campaign execution, including content flow, personalization, formatting, QA, approvals, and deployment.
Proactively identify risks, dependencies, and improvement opportunities throughout the campaign lifecycle.
Journey & Workflow Automation
Manage and optimize automated journeys and workflows that support complex, customer-specific engagement.
Manage campaigns from intake through completion, ensuring timelines, requirements, and business objectives are met.
Troubleshoot and resolve automation issues across journeys, data extensions, and integrations.
URL, Tracking & Data Accuracy
Configure and manage vanity URLs, redirects, and UTM parameters to ensure accurate tracking, reporting, and user experience.
Partner with analytics and marketing stakeholders to ensure data integrity across platforms.
Analytics & Performance Reporting
Monitor and report on campaign performance, including email engagement metrics and landing page results.
Provide insights and recommendations to improve deliverability, engagement, and conversion performance.
Cross-Functional Collaboration
Act as a trusted execution partner to marketing, clients and business teams, translating campaign goals into technical solutions.
Collaborate effectively with limited oversight, escalating issues and recommendations as needed.
We're looking for someone with hands-on experience in the following digital tools and applications:
Salesforce Marketing Cloud: You'll use your expertise to build and manage complex, consumer-specific journeys and email campaigns.
Required Certifications: Salesforce Certified Marketing Cloud Email Specialist
Strongly Preferred: Salesforce Certified Marketing Cloud Engagement Administrator
Desired Certifications: Salesforce Certified Marketing Cloud Engagement Administrator, Salesforce Certified Marketing Cloud Engagement Developer, Salesforce Certified Marketing Cloud Engagement Consultant
HubSpot: Manage B2B campaigns, including the creation of emails and landing pages, and ensure leads are routed to Salesforce.
Workfront: Experience with Workfront or similar project management tools (e.g., Asana, Wrike) is a plus.
HTML/Design: Basic experience with HTML and design is a bonus but not required.
You have 3-5 years of professional experience in digital or marketing automation and a solid understanding of working within a marketing operations process.
You are highly organized, work independently, and have a strong attention to detail.
You have experience with Salesforce Marketing Cloud and HubSpot.
You understand the full customer journey and can see a project through from start to finish.
You're a strong communicator who can work with different teams to achieve a common goal.

The typical pay range for this role is:
$21.10 - $112,200.00This pay range represents the base hourly rate or base annual full-time salary for all positions in the job grade within which this position falls. The actual base salary offer will depend on a variety of factors including experience, education, geography and other relevant factors. This position is eligible for a CVS Health bonus, commission or short-term incentive program in addition to the base pay range listed above.
