Meet the team:
Our IT team ensures that employees across the organization have reliable, secure, and efficient technology to do their best work. The Desktop Support team plays a key role in keeping systems running smoothly and supporting users across a wide range of tools and devices. As a Desktop Support Specialist Level 3, you will handle complex technical issues, improve end-user computing environments, and help elevate the support experience across the organization.
Where you come in:
- You provide expert-level technical support for hardware, software, operating systems, desktops, laptops, and peripherals.
- You troubleshoot and resolve complex issues escalated from lower support tiers.
- You identify recurring technical problems and collaborate with subject matter experts to develop long-term solutions.
- You administer and maintain desktop operating systems across the environment.
- You support lifecycle management of desktop devices and end-user computing assets.
- You deliver guidance sessions to end users on software applications, system functionality, and best practices.
- You create and maintain documentation such as troubleshooting guides and standard operating procedures.
- You participate in the incident management process and ensure timely resolution within agreed service levels.
- You manage assigned service requests through successful completion.
- You develop and update knowledge base articles to improve resolution efficiency.
- You mentor junior desktop support specialists and share technical knowledge across the team.
- You perform other relevant tasks and responsibilities as assigned by your manager.
What makes you successful:
- You have strong experience troubleshooting complex desktop and end-user computing issues.
- You bring deep knowledge of desktop operating systems including Windows 10/11 and macOS.
- You demonstrate strong problem-solving skills and the ability to resolve technical issues independently.
- Your communication and interpersonal skills help you support users effectively and collaborate with technical teams.
- Your knowledge includes networking fundamentals and enterprise desktop environments.
- Your proficiency with Microsoft SCCM and Endpoint Manager/Intune supports device management and system administration.
- You are comfortable working with IT service management tools such as ServiceNow.
- You bring a collaborative mindset and the ability to mentor and guide junior team members.
Nice to have:
- Your certifications may include ITIL v4 Foundation, CompTIA A+, Microsoft 365 Certified: Endpoint Administrator, or similar credentials.
