We have an exciting opportunity at nbn, as the Delivery Manager, reporting to the Senior Manager Delivery.
A bit about your role
The Delivery Manager leads end-to-end delivery of technology solutions within the Customer and Products Portfolio, reporting to the Senior Delivery Manager. The role defines delivery approaches, validates planning assumptions, and collaborates with BAs, architects, DSO engineering teams, and stakeholders to ensure timely, cost-effective, high-quality outcomes.
Key responsibilities include forecasting and financial management, stakeholder engagement with transparency on RAID items, and planning work schedules aligned with Agile practices. The DM manages DSO delivery commitments, resolves dependencies, and works with test, release, and AS&M teams to plan Go-Live events. Additionally, the role influences delivery frameworks within SEO, driving consistent solution delivery and continuous improvement across the organisation.
A bit about you
The ideal candidate has a strong background in project management, telco architecture, product domain expertise, and scaled agile practices. Knowledge of platforms and processes such as activation, assurance, network, or billing is highly valuable, along with experience in IT project delivery (not enablement).
This role requires a proactive leader who fosters a high-performance culture, takes calculated risks, delivers on commitments, and demonstrates curiosity to learn and grow. Essential skills include deep telco domain knowledge, strong understanding of the software development lifecycle, exceptional communication and influencing ability, and advanced planning and organisational skills. Experience with NBN or similar telco projects, CapEx delivery, and working under pressure and ambiguity is critical.
