Who You'll Work With

The Data Quality and Governance Manager role is part of the Investment operations group and will report to the Head of Business Execution and Strategy. This role will be located in Dublin, Ireland. 

About the role

The Data Quality and Governance Manager is accountable for leading execution of the Investments data quality and governance control framework.  This role ensures that critical Investments data is clearly defined, appropriately owned, consistently controlled, and fit for purpose across reporting, oversight, and strategy decision-making. 

This position serves as the central coordination point for data quality matters across Investments, partnering closely with Operations, Finance, Risk, Technology, and other senior business stakeholders to maintain a strong and scalable control environment.  

Responsibilities

  • Lead execution of the Investments data quality and governance framework

  • Define and maintain critical data elements, ownership structures, and data standards

  • Design and oversee proactive monitoring, validation, and exception management processes

  • Drive root cause analysis and ensure sustainable remediation of data issues

  • Establish preventative controls across key reporting and classification dimensions

  • Partner across business and technology teams to embed data integrity into system enhancements and strategic initiatives

  • Facilitate cross-functional alignment on data definitions, usage, and reporting expectations

  • Develop and present data quality metrics and risk insights to senior leadership

  • Support audit and control documentation requirements

Skills & Experience

  • 7+ years’ experience managing and overseeing Investments data within an asset management or complex investments organization

  • Demonstrated experience in data governance, data quality oversight, or control framework design

  • Strong understanding of data ownership models, classification structures, and reporting dependencies

  • Proven ability to operate in a cross-functional environment and influence stakeholders without direct authority

  • Structured and disciplined approach to designing and maintaining scalable oversight processes

  • Ability to apply critical and creative thinking, and apply this mindset to solution requirements

  • Clear and confident communication style, capable of translating complex data issues into business impact

  • Comfortable operating in a dynamic, transformation-oriented environment

  • High degree of accountability, ownership, and attention to detail

  • Ability to build relationships with a range of stakeholders, providing support, assistance and advice in a constructive and professional manner.

This position is based in Corebridge Financial’ s Dublin, Ireland office.
