The Risk Analytics and Monitoring (RAM) team supports GSK in establishing a proactive, data-driven compliance culture that aligns with the organization's strategic objectives and core values. Our team delivers actionable insights to the Legal and Compliance function, enabling the company to anticipate, prioritize, and manage risks across key activities. Through advanced analytics, we highlight emerging trends and exposures, equipping Compliance to meet evolving regulatory challenges. By promoting data-driven decisions, we strengthen risk management and drive continuous improvement, positioning Compliance as a strategic asset within GSK.

Role Overview

The Data & Analytics Senior Risk Manager is responsible for identifying, designing, and delivering advanced analytics solutions to address emerging risk. This role combines strong technical skills with business understanding to guide decisions, lead solution delivery, and take ownership of key analytic products.

This position also requires significant interpersonal and communication skills in addition to deep technical expertise. The ideal candidate works effectively across cultural and functional boundaries, partnering with business areas and countries in an international, matrixed environment. Leadership capability is essential, as you will inspire change rather than command action.

Key Responsibilities

  • Advise stakeholders on innovative analytics solutions for risk detection and mitigation.

  • Own the lifecycle of specific analytic products and capabilities—from concept to delivery, enhancement, and stakeholder adoption.

  • Design and deliver data-driven tools, dashboards, and models to support business priorities.

  • Apply AI and data science to deliver actionable insights.

  • Translate analytics into business impact, clearly differentiating from IT implementation.

  • Operate as both an independent expert and a leader, overseeing solution design and deliverables.

  • Communicate complex findings simply and persuasively to business leaders at all levels

  • Collaborate across regions and functions, adapting communication style for diverse audiences.

Qualifications

  • Advanced knowledge in a quantitative field (e.g., Analytics, Mathematics, Computer Science, Business).

  • Min 5 years of experience in quantitative field

  • Significant experience in analytics or data science roles, with a proven ability to deliver impactful solutions.

  • Proficiency in SQL, Python, and visualization tools (e.g., Power BI).

  • Strong communication and stakeholder engagement skills.

  • Experience leading projects and mentoring others.

  • Demonstrated ability to work across cultures and functions.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Consulting/advisory experience in regulated industries.

  • Familiarity with enterprise risk management and cloud analytics platforms.

  • Commitment to continuous learning.
