Data Analyst

 Basic Qualifications:

  • Three or more years of experience in data visualization, analytics, or business intelligence roles
  • Degree (Bachelors or Masters) in computer science, information systems, statistics, data analytics, or a related field
  • Demonstrated ability to design, build, and maintain interactive dashboards and visual reports in PowerBI
  • Strong verbal and written communicator able to engage with stakeholders and work collaboratively in a team environment

Technical Know-How Required:

  • Advanced proficiency in PowerBI, including DAX, Power Query, and dashboard/report publishing
  • Experience in data modeling and transforming raw data into actionable visual insights
  • Hands-on experience connecting PowerBI to various data sources (SQL, Snowflake, Excel, etc.)
  • Knowledge of database technologies and ability to query/manipulate data using SQL and/or Python
  • Solid understanding of data architecture, data warehousing concepts, and ETL processes
  • Excel – Advanced

Technical “Nice-to-Haves”:

  • Experience with other visualization/presentation tools (Business Objects, Tableau, etc.)
  • Familiarity with data validation and Data Intelligence Systems like Collibra & Ataccama
  • Exposure to SAP ERP and/or SAP data
  • Understanding of GSC, GSM, procurement, or business processes in the relevant domain

Overview of Role:

In this role, the Data Analyst will partner with GSM & IT organizations to deliver impactful, interactive dashboards that drive data completeness and accuracy for source data and applications. The analyst will focus on Category Management & Supplier Management domains, translating business needs into visual analytics and actionable insights.

Primary Responsibilities:

  • Design, develop, and maintain PowerBI dashboards and visual reports to support data analysis and business decision-making
  • Collaborate with business stakeholders to understand requirements and translate them into effective data visualizations
  • Integrate data from multiple sources and ensure data quality, consistency, and usability within dashboards
  • Continuously evaluate and enhance dashboard performance, usability, and visual appeal
  • Perform data cleansing, validation, and harmonization to ensure accurate reporting
  • Work closely with Data Engineers, Developers, Technical Project Managers, and business users to deliver high-impact analytics solutions
  • Present findings and recommendations through interactive dashboards, enabling stakeholders to make informed decisions
