As a Data Analyst for the Digestive Disease & Surgery Institute, you will provide operational and financial data and analysis to support informed management decision-making. The position supports a broad range of DDI research by fulfilling data requests for multiple studies and working extensively across numerous databases. You will also serve as the primary contact for database inquiries and will be responsible for developing and implementing new databases as needed.
A caregiver in this role works days from 8:00 a.m. -- 4:30 p.m. (flexible start/end times)
A caregiver who excels in this role will:
Provide operational and financial data and analysis to support informed management decision-making.
Assist assigned department and leadership in obtaining information from various systems.
Establish and maintain detailed knowledge and documentation of all databases within the assigned department.
Analyze databases and provide timely responses to customer requests.
Provide database research and assist other analysts in completing requests.
Minimum qualifications for the ideal future caregiver include:
Bachelor’s degree in a related field
Three years of professional analytical experience
Experience with multiple software packages, including Microsoft Office, SQL, Visual Basic and others
Analytical, organizational and project management skills with an ability to conduct complex analysis
Preferred qualifications for the ideal future caregiver include:
Master's or other advanced degree
Healthcare experience
SQL experience
Programming background
Experience with databases or programming tools (such as R, Python, or other coding languages)
Physical Requirements:
Ability to perform work in a stationary position for extended periods
Ability to operate a computer and other office equipment
Ability to communicate and exchange accurate information
In some locations, ability to move up to 25 pounds
