Director, Global Services Delivery – Cyber Strategy & Compliance

This group includes experienced consultants located throughout the United States, United Kingdom, Canada, El Salvador, and India dedicated to helping clients with preventing, detecting, responding, and recovering to security threats that may affect their critical systems and data. The position
The Director, Global Services Delivery – Cyber Strategy & Compliance is responsible for leading and scaling the global delivery of Cyber Strategy and Cyber Compliance services across RSM’s India and El Salvador offices. This role focuses on increasing integration between North America–led engagements and Global Services teams, strengthening delivery quality, building a sustainable and highly skilled global talent pool, and ensuring consistent execution of the Cyber Global Integration Strategy.
The Director acts as a senior delivery leader, change agent, and connector between Cyber Strategy & Compliance Solution Sets, Global Services (GS) domain leaders, North American leadership, and firmwide partners. The role emphasizes operational excellence, integration metrics, talent development, quality control, and enablement of Global Services participation across delivery and sales activities.
Key Responsibilities
Global Services Operations
- Facilitate and drive change across Cyber Strategy and Cyber Compliance businesses and increase integration with Global Services delivery teams.
- Flexible to work across multiple time zones (North America, India, and El Salvador) to ensure synchronous leadership and consistent engagement with distributed teams.
- Willingness to travel to RSM’s offices in India with potential for travel to other global services locations (e.g., El Salvador) to foster a "one team" culture and provide in-person mentorship.
- Identify, document, and communicate current challenges that limit effective GS integration across projects, clients, and service offerings.
- Execute an integration plan aligned to RSM’s global integration strategy, including defined delivery process, governance models, playbooks, and clear handoffs.
- Recommend alternative or enhanced project execution approaches to deepen GS integration across Cyber Strategy & Compliance engagements.
- Provide recurring reporting on integration plans, progress, risks, and outcomes to the cybersecurity leadership.
Talent Experience
- Oversee the development of a strong team culture and onboarding/training program for Cyber Strategy & Compliance Global Services new hires.
- Establish regular in‑person and virtual engagement with teams across GS locations to foster connection, engagement, and alignment.
- Coordinate closely with the Cyber Training pillar to align curriculum, learning paths, and capability development for hires (campus/experienced) as well as current staff.
- Build and maintain a cross‑trained, multi‑skilled talent pool capable of supporting multiple Cyber Strategy & Cyber Compliance Solution Sets while ensuring knowledge retention.
- Lead the Global Services hiring strategy and execution for Cyber Strategy & Cyber Compliance in coordination with other GS Domain Leads.
- Coordinate across RSM global delivery team to align global services team members to projects based on their experience and client needs.
- Model the core RSM values of respect, integrity, teamwork, excellence, and stewardship in all interactions with clients and team members.
Quality Management
- Participate in all applicable Cyber Strategy and Cyber Compliance training to ensure continued alignment with the current state methodology.
- Oversee the quality of deliverables across all Cyber Strategy & Cyber Compliance Global Services–supported engagements in coordination with other GS Domain Leads.
- Support technical review of client deliverables as part of engagement leadership team.
- Identify recurring quality issues, delivery risks, or capability gaps at the individual or team level. Develop and execute improvement plans for individuals or teams with persistent quality challenges.
Business Development
- Partner with U.S. Cyber leaders to design and implement a framework for Global Services participation in sales activities, including proposals, client presentations, and client contracts
- Enable earlier and more effective GS involvement in pursuit strategy, solution design, and pricing models in coordination with other GS Domain Leads.
Professional Qualifications
- 10+ years of experience in cybersecurity delivery, cyber strategy, cyber compliance, or risk management within a professional services or consulting environment.
- Demonstrated experience leading global or offshore delivery models and driving operational change.
- Strong understanding of cyber strategy, regulatory cyber compliance, and risk management frameworks (e.g., NIST, ISO, PCI, SOC, privacy regulations).
- Proven ability to lead distributed teams, implement delivery governance, and manage performance through metrics.
- Excellent communication, stakeholder management, and executive‑level presentation skills.
- Demonstrates creative thinking, individual initiative, and flexibility in prioritizing and completing tasks.
Preferred Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Information Security, Risk Management, or a related field.
- Relevant industry certifications (e.g., CISSP, CISM, CISA) preferred.
- Experience working with GRC or cyber enablement platforms and tools.
- Prior experience partnering with sales, alliances, or pursuit teams in a consulting environment.
- Experience with Microsoft tools such as Excel and PowerPoint.
