The Customer Service Manager will be responsible for managing the account representative, customer service representatives/ inside sales and administration teams to achieve maximum productivity and profitability. This will be done by improving communications, both internally and externally, motivating the current workforce by exercising professionalism, providing a safe work environment for employees and by providing superior service to our customers.

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Assist with cycle counting and inventory reconciliation
  • Review open purchase orders, expedite material, and audit procurement cards
  • Work with Branch Manager to deliver financial results (i.e. revenue, margin and return on capital employed)
  • Work with Branch Manager to develop and initiate a strategy to increase market share (i.e. new products, existing and non-existing business)
  • Support the account representatives and inside sales representatives in soliciting customers and growing market share
  • Improve customer relationships with both an emphasis in and focus on excellent customer service
  • Manage the account representative, inside sales and administration teams
  • Perform warehouse and/or driver duties, when required


JOB REQUIREMENTS:

  • High School diploma or equivalent
  • Relevant business experience (drilling, oil and gas production, electrical and/or pipeline)
  • Product knowledge in the oil and gas industry
  • Employee relations and/or development experience, preferably in the oil & gas industry
  • Written and oral communication skills, both internal and external
  • Computer skills (Microsoft Office – Excel and Word)
  • Follow established guidelines, policies, and procedures
  • Must be able to physically lift up to 50 pounds.
  • Must have current, valid driver’s license and acceptable driving record at all times.
  • Work closely with other departments or business units and directly with customers
  • Possess integrity and a dedication to results
