Role: Credit Executive
Function: Credit, Risk & Collections
Objective:_Ensure strict and disciplined credit evaluation, onboarding, verification, and repayment monitoring of e-rickshaw drivers purchasing Enerjazz lithium-ion batteries. Build a robust credit system that balances growth with portfolio quality.


Role Objective

Own end-to-end driver credit evaluation and repayment discipline across regions. This role ensures Enerjazz installs batteries only with safe, validated customers and maintains low default rates through strong follow-ups, documentation, and field verification workflows.


Key Responsibilities

1. Credit Evaluation & Customer Onboarding

  • Conduct phone-based and field-based verification (directly or via outsourced partner).
  • Confirm KYC, address, vehicle details, route, daily earnings, and references.
  • Identify fraud signals, mismatched information, or risky profiles.
  • Score and categorize customers (A/B/C) using Enerjazz’s internal criteria.
  • Approve or reject applications with clear documentation.

2. Documentation & Compliance

  • Ensure complete KYC, rental agreement, RC, permit, Aadhaar, photos, and signatures before approval.
  • Maintain accurate, audit-ready files in Google Drive/CRM.
  • Cross-check duplicate customers, mismatched RCs, or wrong guarantor references.

3. EMI Tracking & Collections Support

  • Track daily/weekly EMI status using CRM + Google Sheets.
  • Proactively call customers before due dates and escalate overdue cases.
  • Coordinate with field collection agents when needed (for POS visits or reminders).
  • Maintain bucket-wise recovery performance.

4. Coordination With Sales & Ops

  • Work closely with the Sales team to validate customers being onboarded.
  • Ensure no installation happens without credit clearance.
  • Coordinate with Logistics for installation timing based on approval status.

5. Reporting & Analytics

  • Prepare weekly dashboards covering:
    • Approval rate
    • Rejection reasons
    • Pending cases
    • Collection efficiency
    • 7/14/30 day overdue buckets
  • Recommend improvements to credit policy based on field learnings.

Must-Have Skills

  • Strong Hindi communication (driver-level + professional-level).
  • High discipline with documentation and Google Sheets.
  • Ability to detect fraud patterns and inconsistencies.
  • Comfort in fieldwork (spot checks, dealer visits, customer house visits).
  • Calm, firm, and assertive mindset for credit + collections.

Bonus Skills

  • Experience in NBFC, e-rickshaw financing, microfinance, two-wheeler loans, battery financing, or collections.
  • Ability to speak basic English for internal coordination.
  • Knowledge of rural/urban last-mile transport ecosystem.

  • EMI Collection Efficiency: > 92%
