Credit Analyst

Queretaro Operations Full time

Main Responsibility:

Evaluate and manage the credit risk of North American customers by reviewing credit applications, setting and monitoring credit limits, maintaining accurate customer financial information, and ensuring customer exposure aligns with approved limits while supporting the overall order-to-cash process.

Key Responsibilities:

Assess customer account applications and establish or update credit limits.

Review customer ledgers regularly, utilizing external AI tools to support decision-making.

Evaluate credit risks for leasing and rental proposals.

Ensure customer information (existing and new accounts) is properly filed, updated, maintained, and entered into systems on time.

Monitor and release credit holds when appropriate and communicate portfolio credit release issues to relevant stakeholders.

Ensure customer exposure remains consistent with approved credit limits.

Review, renew, and adjust credit limits based on business needs, customer payment performance, and risk indicators.

Identify and proactively escalate credit limit concerns.

Develop and maintain strong relationships with internal stakeholders at all levels.

Prepare credit-related reports and analysis.

Participate in ad-hoc group projects and take leadership in process improvement initiatives related to order-to-cash.

Experience Required:

  • Experience in credit analysis, risk assessment, or financial analysis.

  • Experience working with customer credit applications, ledgers, and exposure monitoring

  • Familiarity with credit holds, credit limit management, and order-to-cash processes.

  • Experience interacting with internal stakeholders (Sales, Customer Care, Finance).

  • Experience preparing financial or credit-related reports.

  • Experience participating in process improvement or cross-functional projects is a plus.

Qualifications & Skills:

Strong analytical and risk-assessment skills.

Understanding of credit management, customer exposure, and financial indicators.

Ability to interpret ledgers, payment performance trends, and credit reports.

Strong communication and stakeholder-management abilities.

High attention to detail and accuracy in maintaining customer data.

Ability to work proactively, identify issues, and escalate risks when needed.

Organizational skills for managing multiple customer accounts.

Ability to use or learn AI-driven tools for credit evaluation.

Problem-solving mindset and openness to process improvement.
