Job Description:

Purpose

This high-impact global role is designed for a commercially driven professional seeking a job opportunity within Supply Chain (SC) GF/IDT Team, Business Services categories. The position integrates complex sourcing, contract portfolio management, and business stakeholders’ management across the Aircraft LoB and Strategy Consulting scope with an estimated $20 million annual spend.

The role will:

  • Lead sourcing and post-award contract management for the Aircraft and Strategy Consulting categories, ensuring alignment with Shell’s business objectives and compliance standards.
  • Drive cost improvement (CI) initiatives via competitive sourcing and negotiations delivering measurable value
  • Manage supplier’s performance
  • Collaborate with the business for best commercial outcomes

Key Accountabilities

  • Category & Contract Management: Oversee sourcing and contract lifecycle management for Aircraft and Strategy Consulting services, ensuring commercial value, supplier performance, and risk mitigation.
  • CI Delivery: Support new demands projects working hand in hand with the Global category manager.
  • Performance & Planning: Support category planning, quarterly performance reviews, and cost improvement delivery
  • Continues Improvement: Spot and implement improvements (right buying channel, contracts consolidation) within managed space for simplification and time liberation
  • Leadership & Collaboration: Build strong relationships within own team and with key business stakeholders to ensure alignment and delivery of business outcomes.

Qualifications & Experience

  • Proven experience in contracting and procurement, ideally within indirect categories. (5 years minimum)
  • Strong commercial acumen and ability to manage complex sourcing initiatives and supplier relationships.
  • Demonstrated success in continuous improvement and operational excellence initiatives.
  • Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills, with confidence to engage senior leaders.
  • High proficiency in English; university degree or equivalent required.
  • Familiarity with Shell’s SC tools and systems (e.g., ERP, Ariba, IQN/Fieldglass) is essential.
  • Strong commitment to HSSE, ethics, and compliance.
