Job Brief

We are looking for a Court Reporting Production Associate. As a Court Reporting Production Associate, you will perform a wide range of administrative and office support responsibilities with senior management to facilitate the efficient operation of the company.

The role will be fully remote, and you will be able to work remotely from anywhere in the US if you are able to work the following hours, 9am-5pm EST. If you live in the Phoenix, AZ, you do have the option of working in our local office.

We also offer our talent a benefit package that includes medical, dental, vision, life insurance, and PTO. The offered annual salary range is $38,000-$43,000 (based on experience).

 

Responsibilities:

  • Processing incoming audio from reporters as they come in each day; splits audio and assigns transcribers and proofreaders
  • Follow progress of jobs to make sure transcripts will be delivered on time.
  • Processing audio only jobs and delivering to clients.
  • Aids contractors (transcribers, proofreaders, reporters) and reporting staff, and performs all other reporting-related duties as deemed necessary.
  • Able to think strategically and resolve problems.
  • Able to prioritize workload to ensure efficiency.
  • Excellent business writing skills, spelling punctuation and grammar.

 

Requirements:

  • Minimum of 1 year of related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience in office administrative support
  • Preferred familiarity with legal terminology and knowledge of trial preparation and court proceedings.
  • Detail-oriented and able to maintain and keep track of multiple tasks.
  • Quick learner and able to adapt quickly to changing requirements.
  • Excellent business writing skills, spelling, punctuation, and grammar.
  • Excellent team/client communication skills, verbal and written
  • Computer skills – should have knowledge of Microsoft Office software (Word, Excel, Outlook)
  • Ability to type 40 wpm
