Your role

As the Country Commercial Manager, you will lead all sales and marketing activities for Abbott Coronary in the Netherlands. You’ll manage the direct sales force and clinical team, and create an environment where commercial excellence and patient focus go hand in hand.
You will be responsible for:

Commercial Leadership

  • Owning the commercial strategy and execution for the Coronary portfolio in the Netherlands.
  • Driving sustainable revenue growth and ensuring delivery against annual business plans.
  • Identifying new business opportunities, shaping pricing strategies, and optimizing product positioning.

Team Leadership

  • Leading and developing an experienced sales force and clinical support team.
  • Fostering a high‑performance, inclusive, and collaborative culture.
  • Coaching team members to advance their commercial, clinical, and account development skills.

Customer & Market Engagement

  • Building strong relationships with interventional cardiologists, cath lab managers, procurement leads, and key hospital stakeholders.
  • Leading strategic account planning and ensuring deep understanding of customer needs.
  • Tracking market trends, competitive dynamics, and clinical developments to inform business decisions.

Cross‑Functional Collaboration

  • Partnering with EMEA marketing, medical affairs, and supply chain teams to ensure strong execution and alignment.
  • Ensuring compliance with all relevant regulations, guidelines, and quality standards.

What you bring

  • Strong commercial leadership experience in MedTech, ideally within interventional cardiology, cardiovascular, or a highly technical clinical field.
  • A strong marketing mindset with the ability to translate insights into winning commercial strategies.
  • Proven track record of leading teams and delivering business growth.
  • Strong relationship‑building skills and credibility with clinicians and hospital stakeholders.
  • Analytical, strategic thinker with hands‑on drive and excellent communication skills.
  • Fluent in Dutch and English.
