Job Description:

Parsons is looking for an experienced attorney to join our team. 

We are ready now to lead the transformation of the nation’s brand-new air traffic control system—an ambitious initiative to enhance safety, improve reliability and security, reduce outages, decrease the total cost of ownership, and prepare the aviation system for the future by replacing aging infrastructure with modern technologies and state-of-the-art facilities.

While this is primarily a remote position, the preferred candidate will be from the Metro Washington DC area

What You’ll Be Doing:

• Providing a broad range of legal advice to internal clients concerning program, supply chain and contracts issues

• Negotiating contracts and resolving disputes with primes and suppliers

• Supporting the registration and compliance obligations of Parsons legal entities

What Required Skills You’ll Bring:

• Juris Doctorate (JD) required with a minimum of 5+ years related work experience

• Background in US Government contracting

• Requires a working knowledge of the following

  • FAR, DFAR and USG agency procurement rules

  • Supplier Notices to Cure and Termination issues

  • Equitable Adjustments and Certified Claims

  • Formation of Corporations, LLCs and International Branch Offices

  • Teaming Agreements and Non-disclosure Agreements

• Strong written and oral communication skills, excellent interpersonal skills, keen organizational ability and follow through

Salary Range: $128,700.00 - $231,700.00
