Broadridge is growing! We are seeking a Corporate Action Reorg Senior Associate to join our Reorganization team. Our Business Process Outsourcing team here at Broadridge supports a multitude of clients. While the team's volume and daily activity is weighted towards the US market, our coverage includes the fast-growing global custody which is supported across the globe. Although there are client specific functions performed by the independent teams, there are similarities when processing across client streams. With the right training and motivation, you will be able to enrich your knowledge because of the broad client base that Broadridge has. Broadridge gives you exposure to many entities rather than working in one shop on one function. Because of this, the opportunity to develop your career is greater and can be done in a shorter amount of time. Responsibilities

  • Responsible for processing voluntary and mandatory corporate actions, interpreting terms, allocation of event proceeds to holders and reconciliation

  • Perform various Reorg tasks ensuring instructions are received and processed timely and accurately, as well as mitigate risk and exposure to the firm

  • Monitor deadlines and critical cut-offs to ensure instructions are processed accordingly

  • Learn and understand stock record, relating to various retail and institutional accounts

  • Process allocations ensuring reorg events are paid timely and reconciled for accuracy

  • Provide outstanding client service, escalate client issues and complaints on operational matters to higher-level management when vital

  • Understanding various voluntary and mandatory reorg events and communicating with custodians, depositories, counterparties, and clients as needed

Qualifications

  • 3-5 years’ experience preferred or Recent College Graduate with professional / Internship experience

  • Ability to multitask and take ownership of complex issues

  • Ability to provide support in the daily execution of key tasks when needed

  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills

  • Experience and proficiency using Microsoft Office (Excel, Outlook, Word)

  • Ability to work in a dynamic, team-oriented environment

  • Experience with Custody platforms, Settlement systems, and custody locations such as DTC/Euroclear/Clearstream is a plus

Compensation Range: The salary range for this position is between $35.00 per hour - $39.00 per hour

Bonus Eligibility: Bonus Eligible
