The Opportunity:

As the College of Agricultural, Human, and Natural Resource Sciences (CAHNRS)/Agricultural Research Center (ARC) Coordinator, you will play a key and distinctive role in fulfilling Washington State University’s mission as the state’s Land Grant University. You will be responsible for managing documentation of formula‑funded research programs in the United States Department of Agriculture (USDA)/National Institute of Food and Agriculture (NIFA) using the Research, Extension, and Education Project Online Reporting Tool (REEport) and the National Information Management and Support System (NIMSS) for Multi‑State projects. In this role, you will oversee documentation and reporting for USDA/NIFA projects, Multi‑State programs, and CAHNRS grants in REEport, NIMSS, and National Reporting System (NRS). You will also train and guide departmental personnel in supporting their faculty researchers to ensure compliance with USDA/NIFA regulations, helping maintain the integrity and effectiveness of the college’s research mission.

Additional Information:

This is a full time (100% FTE), permanent position. Overtime eligibility will be determined based on final salary placement. 

Monthly Salary: $4,508.70 - $6,763.06 | Commensurate with experience and qualifications

In accordance with RCW 49.58.110, the above salary reflects the full salary range for this position. Individual placement within the range is based on the candidate’s current experience, education, skills, and abilities related to the position.

Required Qualifications:

  • A Bachelor’s degree in a field relevant to area of specialization and three (3) years of experience directly related to the specialty area. Any combination of relevant education and experience may be substituted for the educational requirement on a year-for-year basis.


Preferred Qualifications:

  • Knowledge of or experience working with Washington State University (WSU) programs such as Workday.
