THE JOB

The Senior Convention Services Manager role is an exciting opportunity to create memorable, high-impact experiences for every group and client we serve.  This position is dedicated to delivering exceptional service that leaves a lasting and positive impression.

You will lead and promote the company’s core service standards and brand values while supporting sustainability initiatives and fostering a forward-thinking, safe, and positive environment.

In this role, you will oversee the full coordination of conventions and meetings, partnering closely with hotel departments to ensure seamless planning, flawless setup, and exceptional service throughout each client’s stay.

You will play a vital role in our mission to own the guest’s experience and create WOW memories that they will carry with them far beyond their stay with us!

THE DAY-TO-DAY:

  • Serve as the main point of communication between the client and all property departments during pre-planning and on-site execution
  • Work directly with clients on room set-up, décor, cost and billing details, and other program requirements
  • Ensure necessary meeting facilities are reserved where applicable
  • Manage delivery and measurement of guest service within assigned departments, aligned with company core service standards and brand attributes
  • Oversee assigned operational functions within the department in alignment with the strategic plan and property vision
  • Host prospective and existing clients visiting the hotel, including dining experiences and attendance at shows
  • Create a work environment that promotes teamwork, performance feedback, recognition, mutual respect, and employee satisfaction

THE IDEAL CANDIDATE:

  • Must be 21 years of age or older
  • Bachelor's Degree
  • Three (3) years of prior relevant experience, preferably in large hotel convention services
  • Proven ability to service high-touch Social and Philanthropic clientele
  • Prior experience in a luxury resort or upscale hospitality setting strongly preferred
  • Exceptional customer service and interpersonal skills to communicate effectively with all stakeholders
